Marriage is such an important part of the fabric of our society. God said, “It is not good that man should be alone.” He established the marriage covenant and said that what he joins together no man can put asunder. Yet the divorce rate in our society is on the rise. Clearly, marriage is under attack but the good news is the enemy is already defeated! We see throughout the Bible that it is God’s desire for a man and a woman to become one, be fruitful and multiply. This is our focus – to build strong marriages, one marriage at a time. It is our sincere hope and prayer that your marriage will be blessed and strengthened by the power of Jesus.
Thomas and Trisha have been married for over 20 years, and it just keeps getting better! We have one fundamental belief: It is God’s will for married couples to experience heaven on earth together. Our marriage has been on a different course ever since we said YES to this truth. Now, we are relentlessly pursuing all the best of what God has for our marriage.
“Marriage is an exclusive union between one man and one woman, publicly acknowledged, permanently sells, and physically consummated.”
– Selwyn Hughes
“God created marriage. No government subcommittee envisioned it. No social organization developed it. Marriage was conceived and born in the mind of God.”
– Max Lucado
Malachi 2:14-15 But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the LORD was witness between you and the wide of your youth, to whom you have been faithfulness, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
1 Corinthians 7:2 But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
Hebrew 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor Amon all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexual immoral and adulterous.
Matthew 19:6 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
Ephesians 5:31-33 For this cause shall be a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great: but I am speaking concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let each individual among you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see to it that she respect her husband.
